Patricky Freire vs Usman Nurmagomedov set to Co-Headline Bellator 288
Bellator 288 will be co-headlined by Patricky Freire who is putting his lightweight title on the line against Usman Nurmagomedov.
Bellator 288 is set to take place on November 18 at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois.
Usman Nurmagomedov (15-0) trains with and is the younger cousin of UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov. Nurmagomedov is currently 4-0 in Bellator with wins over Mike Hamel, Manny Muro, Patrik Pietila, and Chris Gonzalez.
This will be the first time that Patricky Freire (24-10) attempts to defend his lightweight title. Freire won the vacant lightweight title at Bellator 270 last November where he obtained a knockout victory over Peter Queally in the second round.
