Nemkov vs Anderson 2 Booked for Bellator 288

Vadim Nemkov vs Corey Anderson 2 has been scheduled to be the main event of Bellator 288.

Bellator 288 is set to take place on November 18 at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois.

Anderson (16-5) and Nemkov (15-2) fought in the light heavyweight grand prix final back in April at Bellator 277. This bout had an anti climatic finish that resulted in a no contest due to an accidental clash of heads. Nemkov suffered a cut because of this clash of heads, which led to the bout being stopped. However, the pair are scheduled to run it back at Bellator 288 for the Bellator Light Heavyweight Championship, the tournament title, and maybe most importantly a $1,000,000 grand prize.

Anderson was riding a 3 fight win streak with wins over Melvin Manhoef, Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov, and Ryan Bader before his original bout with Nemkov..

Nemkov entered the original bout with Anderson on a nine-fight win streak that stretches back to 2016. This impressive nine-fight win streak involved Nemkov defeating Mikolaj Rozanski, Alison Vicente, Phillipe Lins, Liam McGreary, Phil Davis, Rafael Caravalho, Ryan Bader, Phil Davis again, and Julius Anglickas.
