Former BKFC and RIZIN fighter arrested on hit and run charges

Sheena ‘puma starr’ Brandenburg(0-4 MMA, 1-2 BK) was arrested on charges stemming from a hit and run back in October that killed one person in Clark county, Michigan. The alleged event took place around 1:00am local time as police responded to a single vehicle collision. Troy Lambert, 56, was injured and taken to hospital where he later died due to his injuries.

Both Lambert and Brandenburg were at a Tavern prior to the crash. MMAjunkie has confirmed initial reports with police. A further investigation revealed Brandenburg hit Lambert from behind on his motorcycle and did not stop to assist. Brandenburg is charged with reckless driving causing death and failing to stop at the scene of a deadly accident. Her bond is set at $250,000.

Brandenburg has a litany of driving infractions in Clark County records, including operating under the influence of liquor (OUIL) in 2016 and operating while intoxicated in 2012 and 2010.

A warrant for Brandenburgs arrest was set in October but, she had already left Michigan. Police received a tip in November that she was living in Missouri, only recently was she arrested in Elsburry, Missouri after a warrant was issued back in October.

Brandenburg was extradited to Michigan State Police and placed in Clark County Jail. She was admitted March 8th on one count of reckless driving causing death and one count failure to stop at scene accident resulting in serious impairment or death. The two charges put the BKFC Star down the barrel of a penalty carrying a combined maximum of 16 years, 1 year for failure to stop at the scene and maximum 15 years for reckless driving causing death.
