Douglas Lima vs Michael Page 2 is set for October 1st
Bellator is set to return to London on October 1, and is bringing one hell of a main event to town.
It was announced on Tuesday that the former champion Douglas Lima will be rematching the always exciting Michael Page at The SSE Arena. The first bout between these two men resulted in Douglas Lima securing an unforgettable 2nd round KO victory over Page at Bellator 221 way back in May 2019.
Since the loss to Lima, Page has managed to acquire a 5 fight win streak and doesn’t look to have it end in this bout against Lima. Page’s most recent appearance was a dominate 1st round doctor’s stoppage TKO over Derek Anderson at Bellator 258, which took place back in May of 2021. Page has finished 4 of the fights in his 5 fight win streak.
However, Lima is in the middle of his first losing streak in over a decade. Back in October 2020 Lima lost a decision to Gegard Mousasi in a quest to become a two division champion at Bellator 250. Lima’s most recent Bellator appearance was at Bellator 260 back in June of this year where he lost a decision to Yaroslav Amosov.
